Fun Weekend FTK!

New York City Chapter Party

This weekend was another great example that you can have a lot of fun while helping a good cause. By the way, FTK is “For the Kids”. Last Friday night, our BePosNYC group organized their annual Gala in Long Island City (Queens). As always, it was a sold-out event with great music courtesy of the Blue Label Band, awesome views of Manhattan, and a great vibe of 350+ young professionals getting together to fight childhood cancer. The event raised $150,000!!! Thank you to all!

14th Annual Starboard B+ VIP Black Tag Auction

Yesterday, I headed south to The Starboard in Dewey Beach, DE for our annual Starboard B+ Black Tag Auction. Thanks to organizers, Aaron Dunphy from LowDigitTags.com and Monty & Toastie from The Starboard, we auctioned off 22 VIP souvenir tags that allow the cardholder and a guest to jump the line at this very popular bar & restaurant. Also, the Delaware DMV donated a legit 4 digit black & white tag that went for $9,600! Overall, we raised approximately $80,000! Thank you to Aaron, Monty, Toastie, and all of our bidders. This concept could be replicated in any city in the country where there’s a popular restaurant, bar, ice cream shop, you name it. We just need an “Aaron” in that city to get permission from the club/establishment. Aaron Dunphy has the website and machine to make the souvenir cards.
