“I am so grateful for the financial assistance your foundation has provided during this terrifying rollercoaster ride of having a child diagnosed with brain cancer. Ava Rose was 11 months old this July when I took her to the eye doctor bc of a clogged tear duct. Instead the doctor found a slight issues with her one of her nerves. After that our pediatric nuero consult we had scheduled for December got pushed up to "take her to the ER now". A few days later (July 4th) my 11 month old baby was having 12 plus hour surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor. The surgeon said it couldn't wait one more day to be taken out. The surgeon should have been enjoying the holiday with his own kids.

However, my strong and amazing baby pulled through and spent her 1st birthday in the hospital. She had months long recovery as she is having to learn how to talk, swallow, rollover, crawl and probably will still require many more months of recovery.

Families don't ever think this will happen to them. I mean we donate to cancer research groups but never thought it would be us that one day would need help.

Again, Ava and I and our whole family including her 3 years old sister are grateful for the help during this difficult time and all the prayers you can provide. We will look forward to one day paying it back to someone else that needs it. Thank you and all your donors.

Last Call

One week from today, we will be hosting our 19th Annual B+ Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction. If you’d like to join us for dinner or golf, I need to know by noon EST this Wednesday, September 24th.
