Just a reminder -- we will be dedicating “Andrew’s Tree” at the grade school that he attended, St. Mary Magdalen (Sharpley Rd, Fairfax), tomorrow (Thursday) at 1:00pm. It will be a short ceremony. Please say a prayer that the rain holds off. Everyone is welcome to attend. I think tomorrow may be a particularly hard day.

I would like to thank the “B+ Team” at West Chester (PA) University who participated in the American Cancer Society Relay for Life last weekend. They sported B+ tee shirts, had B+ cupcakes, and even had an Andrew Superhero lifesize cut-out!!! J We’ve got pictures. We’ll post them as soon as we can. Thank you very much to Danny Myers and the whole team. It was very emotional for me to see you all generously giving of yourselves to help others and honor my son. You are superheroes too!

Wait ‘til you hear this one! A local bar & restaurant, C.R. Hooligan’s (managed by Angela Marini, aunt of one of Andrew’s best buddies) had a hamburger eating contest. The grand prize was $500 to the charity of the winner’s choice. Twenty three contestants entered and five of them selected the B+ Foundation! Guess what? The winner, Dan Rappa, was one of the five B+ supporters! Thank you, Dan, and thank you, C.R. Hooligan’s, for your generous donation of $500. What a fun way to help families in need!
