9/11

Like many of you, I will never forget where I was on the morning of September 11, 2001. Let us never forget the bravery of first responders and everyday citizens…and of course, the innocent souls who were taken from us that day.

On a much less important note, September 11th also represents the “birthday” of The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation… 9/11/2007.

Paying it Forward

As many of you know, when you donate to The B+ Foundation on our website, there is a field that asks how you heard about us. I was so moved by the note that was attached to a very generous donation received this past week.

“We received help from the B+ Foundation when our daughter was going through treatment, and we would like to give back in order to help other families walking that same road.”

Is that special or what?

Andrew Lives On

Chris and I were doing a little maintenance work on “Andrew’s Tree” at his grade school, St. Mary Magdalen, when a woman passing by stopped to talk with us. She shared that she was working in the legal field when Andrew was in the hospital. Following Andrew’s journey each day on our Caringbridge site led her to find her true passion and she is now a nurse at the very hospital where Andrew was treated. We just LOVE hearing stories like this.

20th Annual B+ Golf Outing, Dinner, & Auction - Oct. 5th

We have 3 foursomes available and always looking to add additional sponsors and auction package donors. Please consider joining us as well help the 46 innocent kids diagnosed each school day. Please contact Hugh@BePositive.org. Thank you.
