Thank You Students!
“First I want to send my condolences. I am truly sorry. I can only imagine. I wanted to send a huge thank you! This helps so much and we are very grateful! Having to worry about bills during this difficult time is added stress that I wish no parent has to deal with, so any kind of help is a blessing!

Learn from Latrell
If you or your child doesn’t want to go to school (or you don’t want to go to work), take a good hard look at this picture.

2024 NYC Marathon
I think his smile says it all! I thought this would be a great start-of-the-week picture!

“Greatest Baker Contest”
Thanks to a wonderful organization called Colossal, The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation is the beneficiary of a national, online contest called “The Greatest Baker presented by Buddy Valastro”.

Spreading the Word
Last week, I traveled to Washington, DC last week for our “Alliance Action Days”. We brought together over 200 family advocates from across the country.

Impatient for Progress
I am literally in the air right now on my way back home from Brussels. As you may recall, The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation is the lead sponsor of this exciting initiative that brings together Regulators (FDA, EMA, etc.), Industry (Pharma), Researchers (pediatric oncologists), and Advocates (like us).

Messages from My Bosses
Please meet B+ Heroes Tessa, Kaison, & Roya. I’ll let their parents - and their beautiful smiles - do all the talking.

Giving Back
You all know that we give millions of dollars to help families pay their bills. Well, occasionally, we receive donations from those very families after their child’s treatment is over.

Message from Dalton
Hear directly from a 15-year-old about what he’s been through. It will make you think differently about your problems.

Where to Turn?
Thank you for the nice, encouraging comments about my last post about our investment in research.

GIVING TUESDAY!
We cannot help these courageous and innocent kids without your help. Every school day, 46 kids are diagnosed with cancer…AND NOT ONE DID ANYTHING TO DESERVE IT!

Fight Night for Childhood Cancer
Thank you to the Sigma Chi fraternity at the University of Texas in Austin for including us, once again, as a charity beneficiary of “Fight Night”.

Don’t Forget the Research
Life can change so quickly! When Emmett started 1st grade last month, I’ll bet he and his family were dealing with all of the normal stresses of starting school.

Rain or Shine, the Fight Continues
The weather was MUCH more cooperative this year as we had a beautiful day and a lot of fun at our B+ Golf Outing. Thanks to all of our sponsors and guests, we grossed over $110,000!!!

Something for everyone
In this update, there’s a little bit of something for everyone from research to family stories to prevention to awareness. Thanks for taking the time to read.

Planes, Trains, & Automobiles
What a cute little guy! Don’t you just love those eyes? Please read Leif’s “About Me” page below. I think this ice cream sundae beats “pink medicine” any day.
