I want to wish all of the Mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day!
And, for those of you who, like Chris, observe this Mother’s Day with a child in Heaven, my thoughts and prayers are with you. Please know that your angel is smiling down on you so proud to be able to call you “Mom”. You hear all of the compliments about how wonderful your children were in this world and how they continue to influence us. They were and are so wonderful because of you!
Please do me a favor and keep Carrie Dickmann in your prayers. Mrs. Dickmann is a Mom from nearby whose daughter (Kristen) was a midshipman at the US Naval Academy and she mysteriously passed away this past week. Today must be so brutal! I’ve heard a lot of great things about Kristen and one made me really think of Andrew. I’m told that the only time Kristen got in trouble at Annapolis was when she was told that she smiles too much! Sounds a lot like Andrew.

YOUR Foundation continues to reach out to families of critically ill children. Just this past week, we were able to provide some small assistance to the family of a 10 year old girl with a terminal illness and a 3 year old girl with cancer in both kidneys, both lungs, and her liver. I think it’s important for you to hear these updates. This would not be possible without your help. Thank you!

Congratulations go out to Joey Borowski’s family for a tremendously successful bone marrow drive yesterday in Brookhaven, PA. I believe that they registered 137 new donors for the Bone Marrow Registry. Great job! You may have just saved a few people’s lives! How incredible is that???!!!
Thank you for making the choice to care!
In honor of Kristen Dickmann, Live Like Andrew (& Kristen) – SMILE J!!!
B+
God bless you.
