I hope everyone MADE it a great weekend! It was an interesting one for us.
On Friday night and Saturday, we had the privilege of attending the Northern Brandywine Swim League (NBSL) Championships. I got a chance to address the older kids and their families on Fri. night and the younger ones and their families on Saturday. It was touching to see so many kids wearing B+ shirts and we greatly appreciated all of the nice comments from everyone. You all are carrying Andrew’s spirit and message and that lets us know that Andrew “LIVES”…just in a different way. Thank you so much! Also, thank you to everyone who supported the Foundation by purchasing B+ gear. Over $2,000 of merchandise was sold by Jake & Kate Goorland, two young members of the B+ Nation. Thanks guys!

It seemed only fitting that before going to the swim meet on Friday night, we sent out financial assistance to two more families. YOU have helped the family of a 15 year NJ boy whose AML (leukemia) has resulted in him being quadriplegic, in addition to the usual, life-threatening challenges of leukemia. And, you’ve helped a the family of a 17 yr old PA boy who was recently diagnosed with Burkitt’s Lymphoma, a form of cancer.

Today, we learned of a local girl, Sydney Lysinger, who is undergoing chemo for Hodgkins that was recently diagnosed. Sydney just graduated from 8th grade and needs your prayers and words of support. Please visit her website and share some B+ thoughts with her family. Mrs. Lysinger, it was an honor to meet you today. God bless you all.
