B+ Running Team Raises Awareness at DE Marathon
They came from NY, NJ, CT, GA, and of course DE, to join The B+ Running Team in this year's Delaware Marathon. Wearing these great B+ running shirts, they generated tons of awareness along the route and well-earned donations for their efforts. Here are some great photos of the event.
SalsThon and UDance Raise Money for B+
Thousands of University of Delaware students "danced" 12 hours and raised over $550,000 in just their 5th year! Watch a video of the event.
And students from Salesianum, Ursuline, and Padua high schools (at right) got together for the first annual SalsThon that raised over $75,000! Check out the photos.
Get in Shape with The B+ Running Team in The Delaware Marathon/Half

Drivers Al Carter and Hugh Plumb are commited to increasing awareness of childhood cancer, so the B+ logo and our mission to fight childhood cancer will again be prominently featured on the #45 race car this year in the 2013 Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge. You can watch them race on the SPEED Channel or follow them on Facebook. The 2013 season just started in Daytona so we're gearing up for another great year.
B+ Research Grant Yields Results
An article appears in the January 2013 issue of Pediatrics, the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, about some exciting work being done by Dr. Ken Lucas and his team. Please take a look at this work as featured in a Medical News Today article from this week. We are very proud to co-fund this research with Solving Kids Cancer and the Peirce Phillips Charity. This is really exciting. We should all feel very proud for having played a part in making this research happen.
