Our annual Golf Outing typically includes dinner and live and silent auctions after a fun day of golf.  This year we're trying something new to let everyone -- not just those who attend -- bid on our great items.

Items include:  NYC weekend packages, Notre Dame VIP football package, Eagles tickets, Flyers box, 3 different beach houses, Phillies tickets, and more!   This gives you time to check your calendars, discuss with family and friends, and watch the bidding so you won't get outbid!

BMW/DelVal Club Welcomes B+ Heroes to the Racetrack

For the second year in a row, the generous members of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the BMW Car Club of America are hosting B+ Heroes at NJ Motorsport Park on August 23rd.  The kids and their families will have rides in the race cars, followed by lunch at the track.  Club members host a banquet and auction, which raises money for B+.  This year they will be presenting B+ with a $15,000 donation!

High School Students Fight Cancer Too

We're so proud to have partnered with a long list of high schools this year who have organized dance marathons, a volleyball tournament, and a bonfire to raise money to fight childhood cancer.  Here's a list of the high schools so far this year:  Charter School of Wilmington, Appoquinimink HS, St. Georges HS, Wilmington Friends School, Tatnall School, Sanford, Tower Hill, Brandywine HS, Bernegat HS and Archmere Academy.

B+ Research Grants Yield Results

  • Funding from B+ has supported clinical trials at the Seattle Children's Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research where they currently have 4 patients in remission from a recurrence of ALL.
  • An article appeared in the January 2013 issue of Pediatrics, the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, about some exciting work being done by Dr. Ken Lucas and his team.  Please take a look at this work as featured in a Medical News Today article. As you'll see, The B+ Foundation was a lead funder of this research, along with Solving Kids Cancer and the Pierce Phillips Charity.
