Andrew's Mom Wants Cancer Funding to Put Kids First
I'm Andrew's Mom, Chris. I watched Andrew battle and ultimately die from leukemia. Now I'm battling breast cancer. While I'm indebted to the researchers and organizations who have made great progress against breast cancer, I believe that kids should come first. If it's a choice between funding cancer research for myself or my son -- I choose my son.
Childhood cancer takes more lives than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, asthma and AIDS combined.
46 children and teens are told they have cancer every school day.
Yet less than 4% of government research funding targets childhood cancer -- and there are 12 major ones.
If you'd like to help us in our fight against childhood cancer, please contact me at Chris@BePositive.org and let's talk about how we can raise funds and awareness in your area.

B+ Research Grant Yields Results
An article appeared in the January 2013 issue of Pediatrics, the journal of the American Academy of Pediatrics, about some exciting work being done by Dr. Ken Lucas and his team. Please take a look at this work as featured in a Medical News Today article. As you'll see, The B+ Foundation was a lead funder of this research, along with Solving Kids Cancer and the Pierce Phillips Charity.
DelVal BMW CCA Hosts B+ Heroes on the Racetrack
Thanks to the Delaware Valley BMW CCA, our B+ Heroes enjoyed some hot laps at the NJ Motorsports Parkway and got to sit in some cool cars, including the Back To The Future car. At the BMW dinner banquet, they presented a check for $15,000 to B+, and raised another $10,000 at their auction. Thanks for creating a fun day for our Heroes and creating many new B+ Ambassadors.
